How can I sell Dog Beds for Less? I’ve been a professional seamstress for almost 20 years, and I produce these products from my home workshop in Northeast Minneapolis—so I’m able to work from home without excessive overhead. I make these products as a hobby because I enjoy creating them, and I want to make them available at an affordable price.

I began making dog beds after extensively redecorating my house only to be unhappy with the look of “typical” dog beds within my newly decorated space. I wanted dog beds that more appropriately fit into my décor, and I also wanted a dog bed with a removable cover for easy laundering.

As a frequent shopper at thrift-stores, that’s where I headed to find the materials for the new dog beds I wanted to make. I wasn’t disappointed, and found the designer-quality materials I was looking for. The fact is, I very often find brand new goods at the thrift stores that others have discarded for one reason or another.

I was so happy with my new “designer-look” dog bed and I thought others might want the same--and Dog Beds for Less was born! I also produce basic, novelty and customized pet beds, as well.

 I became inspired by other interesting thrift store finds and soon thereafter added dog coats, sweaters, raincoats and other dog accessories to the product line.

Earth-Friendly Materials
All of the pet beds and garments featured in the online brochures are Earth-friendly products. All of the products have been handmade by me, in my non-smoking home, from high-quality, clean, pre-laundered, 100% recycled, reclaimed or repurposed materials. (All products can be made from new materials upon request, see Custom Creations, below).

All materials were previously new (discarded by someone else and now repurposed) or only gently used. All products appear “like new.” They are free from stains, holes or obvious wear, and HAVE NOT been used previously as pet beds or pet garments. Most of the pet bed covers are removable and are machine wash/dry, as are the garments, unless specifically noted.

Due to the unique nature of the Recycled, Reclaimed and Repurposed materials used in these products, limited quantities of each end product may be available.

Pet Beds

Many of the pet bed fabrics are designer-name or designer-like quality to fit your décor. A wide variety of fabrics, colors and styles are available: denim, poly-suede, faux shearling, cotton, polyester, decorator, upholstery, drapery, faux fur, etc. Please note that your choice of fabric should depend on how rough your dog or cat is on his/her belongings. If they like to scratch at the bed before they lie down, you would be wise to consider durable fabric choices such as denim, upholstery, shearling, poly-suede, cotton blends, etc. If you have any question about the durability of a particular product, please don’t hesitate to contact me at DogBeds@Q.com.

Pad thicknesses and content vary from bed to bed. Pads may be poly-filled, down-filled or solid-piece foam-filled. Please note the specific pad description on each bed listing. Pet beds may be used as crate pads also. All poly-filled and down-filled bed pads are lined with durable material, and all pads are removable unless specifically noted.

Veronica Valley Designs for Dogs (coats, sweaters, raincoats, neckwear & accessories)

I seek out unique fabrics for the creation of the garments and accessories. Many of the garments and accessories are one-of-a-kind, so your dog can show of his or her individual style!

You will find a variety of fabric choices, sizes and affordable price ranges in the garment catalogs--from the Little Miss Princess and My Little Prince lines, which feature fancy coats and sweaters, some with faux fur collars, to the Good Dog Duds and Bargain Hound lines, which feature stylish, functional, sports-themed and basic garments.

All coats are adjustable within the size range listed and have Velcro closures around the neck and torso. Coat linings vary, so please note the specific descriptions within each listing.

Most of the garments are machine wash (cold) and dry unless otherwise noted. The raincoats are “wipe clean” or gently hand wash and drip dry.

Custom Creations
For a reasonable additional fee, I will make every effort to meet your color and size preferences with a customized pet bed or garment. Please call or email me, I will return your inquiry promptly.

Any product can be produced with all new materials, upon request.

Payment
Payment via check or money order only, sorry no credit cards at this time. Ordering by phone, fax or email will reserve your selections, but products will not be shipped until payment is received and cleared. Be sure to add all applicable sales tax and shipping charges.

Shipping
Be sure to use the correct shipping chart for your order. Shipping rates listed on the Order Form are for destinations within the continental USA only. No shipping to PO Boxes. No shipping to Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or APO/FPO addresses. No international shipping. Please note the Oversize shipping conditions, if applicable. Orders of multiple beds or other products may be shipped separately. Product(s) will be shipped within three business days following receipt/clearing of payment. Estimated shipping time 5 – 7 business days from date shipped. Items will be shipped via USPS, FedEx, or UPS Ground. If expedited shipping is required, please contact DogBeds@Q.com for quote.

Terms of Sale
If you wish to submit a Returned Merchandise claim, please contact DogBeds@Q.com for assistance. Merchandise must be defective to be eligible for return. All non-product related fees (shipping and handling, etc.) are not refundable. Payment refunds will be issued only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement. Please contact DogBeds@Q.com within 48 hours of product delivery in the case of damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products. After receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization, product must be returned within three (3) business days. Items must be returned in original condition. Exchange or return will be denied, and product will be returned to purchaser, if product has been used or has any indications of use including, but not limited to, pet hair or odor.
